Sheba

We are thinking Sheba is a Dutch Shepherd/GSD mix. Vet thinks she is approx. 6 months old

Sheba is doing great at her fosters home! Her foster says she plays well with the older shepherd in the home and has a lot of puppy energy. She will be available the week of 9/23, accepting applications now! She was seen by a vet on 9/10 and is getting spayed on 9/19, she’ll be fully vetted and ready to go to her new home soon!

She loves to snuggle and give kisses, she would do great with another higher-energy dog or she would do great as the only dog (she may tire out a lower energy dog). She doesn't seem to mind the cat in the home, she's just curious about him.

Due to her energy and size level, we suggest kids 10+, as she does not know her size and could easily knock over young children.

Sheba’s history

We were contacted about this sweet pup, Sheba. She was in a home, not being cared for. In fact, the owners are on a do-not-adopt list for about every shelter in western PA. We believe Sheba is the 5th dog they have had taken or given up.

Sheba is approximately 6 months old - she has had no vetting, no training, no attention. She is safe with us now, she will need vetting, training, spayed, and in need of some grooming - she was covered in fleas. We’re hoping the owners surrendered the cats that were in the house, too.

We really couldn't afford another pup that needed so much, but couldn't leave her in those conditions. If you can help, please donate or check out other ways to help.
