ALL PUPPIES must be altered by 6-8 months of age, proof must be sent to Saving Shepherds Rescue. If your vet wants to wait for a year old, which some do, please send that into the rescue. As we mostly do German Shepherds and mixes of them, I am also requiring them to attend an accredited training program. That can be puppy preschool, beginning obedience etc. This is also to be done in the first 6 months of adoption!! An unsocialized, untrained dog is what most people reach out for me to rehome. This is because they were not trained or socialized when young, for a German Shepherd this is an absolute MUST!!. I work with several trainers in different areas that will offer a refund for pups adopted from me. We can discuss those depending on where you live. I will also discuss other options with you if needed. ANY OR ALL failure of the above will result in surrender of the animal back to the rescue, with no refund given.
