Looking Good for Zuri!

Zuri’s meet and greet went great, even though the weather didn’t cooperate! The potential adopter’s dog and her got along well and the next step is to get Zuri to their home to ensure no issues there.

Older dogs can be harder to place, although they are often house ready - housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, maybe some obedience lessons - seeing these adults with their new families - it’s lovely! We go the extra step to ensure we find the right home for all of our dogs, but especially to make sure the adults are where they need to be.

As always, we are looking for fosters, particularly for adults. Each week people reach out to us about rehoming their dogs and we just don’t have the resources to assist everyone. So let’s be very happy when we get adults like Zuri into their forever homes - Go Zuri, GO!!
