We have a litter of 7 Shepherd pups that desperately needed our help. The owner finally agreed to surrender all 7. When we saw closer pictures of pups and mom, we decided vetting could not wait and got them seen. Mom has mastitis, pups had what vet thought was fungal infection from the wet bedding. The good intentions were there, but she used blankets and sheets, and they were not changed and covered in feces and urine. Mom was given antibiotics and anti- inflammatory medicines , as well as updated shots.

We found out Mom is only 10 months old, so just a baby herself. Mom and dad (both Shepherds) will be neutered and spayed, we will pay for that, but owner did not wish to surrender them. The pups just turned 5 weeks old.

The total bill today was $790.18.

The vet recommended to give 1st shots, as we do not know if mom was ever vaccinated.
