Panchito - This little man is awesome!

Panchito - meaning “free” in Spanish - is still looking for his special people! Such a good looking boy, well mannered, loves his older foster Pugs. I think he enjoys his naps! Here’s a note his foster wrote and some more pictures. Videos will be coming soon!

Panchito has been with his foster since mid-October. He's a pibble mix, about 4 1/2 months old. He is currently enrolled to start play care at Down Home Dog Resort.

From his foster - Gentle and respectful fellow ISO his number 1! That's Cheeto, affectionate and easy-going. Crate trained and housebroken! Puppy pad and outdoor trained. Ready to bond with his forever family, we know he has one somewhere! He was full of mange and bald when we rescued him, but he is a completely healthy and gorgeous guy now! No interest in chewing furniture, shoes, etc. Likes stuffie toys, does not tear them apart, eat them or dig the squeaker out. Loves to play with you but easily entertains himself. He loves to burrow into blankets. No food, treat or toy guarding, takes treats, food and toys right alongside foster's dogs. "Talks" but doesn't bark a lot. Likes to play with others but respectful. Will love to have another dog to play with. Can be a little shy and is learning he can trust people. He is doing some training classes and puppy daycare to help him. He knows sit and down, almost knows shake. Leash training "walk with me" without pulling and waiting to have leash on and off is going well and working on door manners. Does very well with baths but gets cold quickly. We suspect he will stay fairly short.

He is microchipped and up to date on shots.
