Beatrice's Story

We want to share Beatrice’s journey to Saving Shepherds Rescue with everyone. She came to us from Texas, arriving in Grove City to her awesome foster family on 30 September 2023. She was very happy to join the foster’s crew and have her safe place to have her babies.

Beatrice went to see Dr. Nicole Moskes at Center Animal Clinic on 2 October and you have a chance to win a SSR t-shirt by guessing the number of puppies and what day she’ll deliver them. Check out our Facebook post for a chance to win!

Her foster says Beatrice is a “honey and a love bug.. she hasn’t met a dog or human she doesn’t like and her fosters are thrilled with her.” She’s enjoying the green grass and lovely sunshine before she has to take care of her babies.

Beatrice is a Beagle mix and the vet thinks she’s about 2-3 years old. She’s heartworm positive and will start treatment as soon as she can. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and here for updates on Beatrice!
